  My father visited Dr Bains, presenting with stomach problems. Dr Bains examined his stomach, took his BP and temperature She didn't tell him what these results were). After examining his stomach, she said he would need further tests as it could be stomach cancer.. My father (who suffers from anxiety), said to her (somewhat shocked) ' How long have I got?' and Dr Bains replied 'We've all got to die sometime'. What an incredulously insensitive, improper remark to make to a patient! What is wrong with this woman?? I will be taking my complaint to the highest level. She terrified my dad. VERY ANGRY!!!

  The reception staff are great. They don't try and diagnose you over the phone which makes such a nice change compared to every other doctor's surgery that I've ever used.
  
  Never had any problems with the service from the doctors.
